As a network engineer on our team, you’ll help develop and maintain a reliable network to support critical simulation training operations. You’ll work with organizations, instructors and students to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You’ll then plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you’ll put your hardware and software talents to good use. You Have: -Experience with management of site networks in support of simulation events -Knowledge of network equipment and encryption devices -Ability to install computer software and hardware -Secret clearance -HS diploma or GED -Comptia Security + Certification Nice If You Have: -Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux Server, Windows Operating Systems, Windows Server Operating Systems, DNS, Active Directory, and Microsoft SharePoint Server -Experience with constructive simulations -Experience with Layer II and III routers and switches -Knowledge of Risk Management Framework process and security requirements -Knowledge of Army Mission Command Systems connectivity and networking -Ability to employ, configure, operate, and maintain virtual and rack-mounted servers and Common Hardware Platforms (CHP) using VMware -Ability to provide training and mentorship of junior staff -Ability to provide input to internal and external clients on simulation technical issues -Ability to assist with the physical layout of network architecture to produce a realistic training environment -Ability to evaluate constructive simulation performance to ensure network reliability during simulation exercises and provide detailed documented feedback describing problems, recommended solutions, and priorities -Microsoft Windows 10 Configuration Certification -CompTIA Linux + Certification -CCNA Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
