As a senior engineer, you will be an integral member of a contractor team which provides the software and infrastructure support to both legacy and new/emerging technologies. You will be a part of the Govt Program Management Office as a SETA and will be asked to support the customer’s desire to provide mission with solutions. You will have frequent and direct interface with senior customers.
As a solutions architect, you will drive multiple customer solution design projects in parallel by conducting business and technical discovery with customers, finding novel solutions, architectures and use cases to help customers meet their objectives and providing robust recommendations for engagements while also identifying critical dependencies and gaps. You will present proposals to senior government officials in a clear and compelling way by articulating high- level technical solutions to business problems and program success criteria. You will independently apply a wide set of engineering disciplines for planning, design, analysis, coding, testing, roll-out and support of information systems architectures. You will assist in the development of interface standards, quality assurance standards, performance standards, and cost-benefit analysis of modem state-of-the art information systems by analyzing available technologies and makes use case recommendations. These services will be provided within a full Agile construct, where release planning, release training and deployment will be key.
Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
Ideally, the selected candidate will have:
Demonstrated experience architecting
Experience developing systems utilizing AWS Cloud-native designs
Demonstrated Experience as technical lead across the full lifecycle for software development projects
Demonstrated experience with Agile, continuous deployment, automated testing, and DevSecOps
Superior written and communication skills with ability to interface with various groups such as project team, clients, and senior executives
Demonstrated Experience as a technical lead of a large-scale migration to a cloud infrastructure (AWS)
Demonstrated experience architecting, building and deploying technical solutions that use multiple data stores targeting specific application use cases including multiple technologies
Experience with JIRA and CAMEO tools
